Manifesto

The problem

Most digital writing has become indistinguishable. Same words, same structures, same generic advice. Safe, forgettable, unreadable. AI made it worse by amplifying the sameness. It flooded the web with text that checks every box and connects with no one. The market is drowning in content that fills space but says nothing. That is not communication. That is noise.

The human answer

Copygut exists because good copy still matters. Not the kind that follows templates or reads like it was generated. The kind that stops the scroll, earns attention, and actually communicates something worth saying. That requires instinct, taste, experience, and the ability to read a room — or a website — and know what works, what does not, and why. That is what Copygut protects.

What Copygut does

Copygut looks at text. Website copy, social posts, emails, landing pages, anywhere words are used to sell, persuade, or connect. Copygut evaluates with a human gut, sharpened by decades of practice. Then Copygut shows what needs to change and how to change it. This is not about rules. It is about seeing clearly.

The future

AI is not going away. It is a tool, not a replacement. The brands that win will be the ones that combine the speed of AI with the judgement of someone who has done the work, made the mistakes, and developed the taste to know the difference. Copygut helps people do exactly that. Sharpen your communication, stand out in the noise, and write like someone is actually reading.

About the founder

Copygut was founded by Alex Åström, a copywriter and strategist with decades of experience in UX writing, web communication, and brand positioning. The brand is his way of turning that experience into something useful — audits, guides, and direct advice for people who want their words to matter.
